The Viaduct of Juanambú is located between the villages of Taminango and Pasto and crosses the Juanambú river canyon.
The deck is a continuous prestressed concrete girder, with 45,0+90,0+45,0 m spans, built as a balanced cantilever using movable scaffolding except the lateral span, which was built using conventional falsework.
The cross section of the deck is a concrete box. The depth varies from 4,82 m at the piers, to 1,82 m in the middle of the spans and abutments. The width of the bottom slab of the box section is 5.0 m and the top slab is 8,9 m wide. So, there are two cantilevers 1,95 m long to complete the section.
The piers have a truncated pyramidal shape with a hollow box section and shallow foundations.
